Neu habe ich unter "myBlog - web -> feeds I read" meine sog. "PageFlakes" eingebunden. Another thing I changed in the meantime of the redesign, is to implement my so called "PageFlakes" under the menupoint "myBlog - web -> feeds I read". Pageflake is an amazing webservices, which allows anybody to build an individual webbrowser startsite, like the one provided by iGoogle. One can put all website visited regularly into one windows. Also eMailclients, calenders, radio-&TV stations can be embeded very easy per drag&drop. One feature is to show newstickers of feeds and that is exactly what I've done in this pageflake, so I don't have to search my favorite feeds any longer. {/tab} |

A new year has always to start with some greater changes! migration to 1.5
This year I decided to migrate my personal website to Joomla! 1.5. The new genreation of open source content management systems (os cms). Unfortunantly the final&stable version is still not aviable at this time, but the release candidate RC4 works out very fine anyway. I had no major problems installing it and I took the oportunity of the migration procedere, to clean up and reorganise my old posts at the same time. redesign 08 As I changed to the brandnew 1.5 version, I thought it couldn't be so wrong to change to a new age template at the same time, which proivdes all these web2.0like Ajax features. This ended up in a complete redesign of th website, which is still no completed of course, because most of the existing extensions don't work on 1.5RC, untill the stable version will be published. Therefore I will implement features like socialbookmarking, tagclouds, coments, feeds, style_lists etc. step by step. new blog_structure 08Finally I now definitely spilted my blog into two sections. A new one about law_stuff called myBlog - law, where I will blog about new decisions and developments out of the IT&IP scene and especially about creative commons. The second sections named myBlog - web, contains my old blogposts and will continue on these topics, which are just about webthings&art I like, a more hobby like blog. |

Ok, finally I did it. After different problems getting started, especially because of a incredible periode of real bad luck (everything went completely wrong) I moved and installed my workstation in Stuttgart (Germany) in the beautifull and really inspiring environment of the academy of Schloss Solitude. I'm attending the art, science & business program. I live here now untill end of march in the very pleasant fellowshipcamp, working on my thesis about copyright problems around digital contents, with my alltime special focus on fotojournalism, which drives me to many different questions about contents&art&media&web&rigths. It's great to be here, together with so many creative people and artists surrounding me. They come of all over the world and work throughout all kind of disciplines: architects, visual artists, videodesigners, theaterplay authors, ballet choreographers, musicians, painters, potographers etc. and even philosophers. They don't only have a lot of questions, but all kind of different inputs as well! |
